To Coach Phil:
I hope you are doing well placed. I wanted to let you know how I did in my show. I placed 5th overall out of 21 people. I feel really good about how I did. Things didn’t go perfectly but even when things went wrong, I recovered really well. The mental aspect was what I was most worried about and that turned out to not be an issue at all!
In fact, I was definitely one of the more well-conditioned & fastest athletes in my weight class and I definitely have you to thank for that. The training you did with me to improve my conditioning paid off big time in this event, it’s pretty much the reason I placed as highly as I did given my mistakes. Honestly, I can’t thank you enough for the training you gave me. I never thought I would be able to do this, even when I first signed up there was a part of me that thought I was being crazy. This sport is definitely helped me find my strength, physically and emotionally and I am so grateful for that. I’m already signed up for my next show, NY Strongest Man & Women in January and I really can’t wait for what is next.
