Jim Wender’s 5/3/1 training system has taken the world by storm and for good reason.
It is simple, effective and it’s getting people stronger than ever before.
5/3/1 is based around the squat, bench press, deadlift, overhead press and power clean. It works off of simple arithmetic. By using percentages of a one rep max and keeping the work to the minimum amount necessary, you make constant progress. The problem is that many people just don’t know how to do the lifts and they are not sure how to choose assistance work.
“The success of the 5/3/1 Method has been nothing short of extraordinary.
For the past year, the response towards this simple but brutally effective training system has been overwhelming. This is because it works. And works for just about anyone willing to put in the discipline and work that getting stronger requires Elite level lifters to absolute beginners have all used the 5/3/1 Method; the basic tenets of strength training have and will never change. Big exercises, constant progress, and personal records will never go out of style. High school and college coaches are now using the 5/3/1 with their athletes with amazing success; it is easy to track, implement and will inspire any team to push for themselves to the limit. Powerlifters use this program, for both raw meets and geared meets.
The 5/3/1 Method is truly for anyone that is looking to get stronger. This is not a fancy training program that requires special equipment or Master’s degree – all is required is your dedication to moving more weight than you had ever dreamed.”
“The 531 group class is hands down the most effective strength training that I have done. The coaches taught me correct lifting form, motivated me and I was able to meet all my strength and conditioning goals. The 5/3/1 group class is very easy to follow, is super fun and will get you stronger.”
TPS’s 5/3/1 group class is approved by Jim himself. I asked for permission and Jim said that he would be honored to have us be the representatives for a camp using his system and gave us permission to use his 5/3/1 name in it. That is high praise from Jim. If you know him, you know what I mean.
