RPS Powerlifting at TPS
On November 16, 2019 we are hosting Boston’s Strongest Push-Pull Championships and we’d love you to be here.
We will feature some outstanding lifting, along with highly experienced and qualified judging to give you the best strength spectacle available.
And, it’s all to benefit two worthwhile charities!
As you may know, many of my friends run the organization and we have been supporting them for many years, this is no different.
They will be here providing you with great food and snacks to gorge yourself on with all of the revenue going to the organization.
This is the Dropkick Murphy’s charitable organization that assists people in our communities in their time of need and recovery.
The Dropkick’s are near and dear to me being a Boston Irish Masshole and their tour manager, Grizz is a good friend. So, as a way to say thank you to him, and all of the DKM’s for providing me with some of the best shows and memories with my son at them, we have decided to give back to their charity.
The legal stuff: I have to say a portion of the proceeds goes to the Claddagh Fund because we have expenses for the event to offset, such as shirts, trophies, and more. But, we will give them as much as we can!
With that in mind, please come by the gym on the 16th and pay the spectator fee or make a donation to help us with the donation.
Service for members at the gym will be interrupted the day of the meet as we simply cannot run a meet and have the gym open to training that day.
We will open the gym as soon as the event is over. I’ll have hours on this posted soon.
We also are looking for about 10 volunteers to spot, load and help moving equipment that day, so if you have a few hours to help out and give back not only to the Powerlifting community you are a part of, but also to two worthwhile and needy charities, please reply back.
Lifting begins at 9:00 a.m.
I’d also like to thank our sponsors for helping us with the event.
They have provided us with items to raffle of and more.
They are:
Bono Inc.
Pro Auto and Truck
If you’d like to sponsor, please let me know. Every little bit helps.
Thanks in advance!

On October 8th and 9th 2016, TPS is teaming up with RPS as usual to bring you the best in Powerlifting.
We are hosting the 20th annual RPS Power Challenge at the Jackson Street Hall in Malden. This is just a few hundred yards from TPS in the Jackson Street Parking Garage near Malden Station.
We will be switching charities this year as well. Since TPS always wants to support our community, we are donating a portion of the proceeds to the Malden Emergency Center.
The Malden Emergency Center is Metro Boston’s only non-profit, private rescue organization. They respond to multi-alarm incidents in the Boston area with municipal fire and police departments and provide multiple types of emergency services at no cost to the tax payers.
We feel this is a very worthwhile organization to assist and we hope you do too.
Registration for the meet will open soon at http://www.revolutionpowerlifting.com/
