Murph is the founder and head coach at TPS.
He is also a multiple award winning trainer, including the “Spirit of Strength” award from USA Master Trainers.

Murph is an ISSA Master of Fitness Science, Certified Strength Coach, and Certified Personal Trainer, through the I.S.S.A.
He is also a Certified Kettlebell Teacher through the IKFF, a USA Boxing Level 2 coach, and a USAW Certified Club Coach.
As well as all the previous certifications, he is also a Certified Sports Nutritionist through the ISSN.
With almost twenty five years experience as a trainer, coach, athlete and nutritionist, you can rest assured you are in great hands.
Murph is a retired Strongman competitor and former National Powerlifting Champion.

He has trained numerous amateur and professional athletes over the years to state, national and world championship titles in a wide variety of sports.
He is also a member of the EliteFTS Q&A staff, as well as being on the Advisory Board for Men’s Fitness Magazine and Muscle and Fitness Magazine.
Murph and TPS have been featured regularly in Muscle and Fitness Magazine, Men’s Health Magazine, Powerlifting USA, Oxygen Magazine DrSquat.com, CNN, the Boston Globe and many more.

He is also the author of several books, including The Complete Guide to Using the Safety Squat Bar.
Murph has received the following awards as well:
